Day 4 — Your sibling (or closest relative)
Sunday, June 20, 2010 / 4:52 PM

My only brother, Thai.

We're not as close as I'd like us to be, but what can you do with the 11 year gap we have? It could be better, but I'm fine with the way it is.

It's not always a bad thing though, the age gap. It only means that you're older and you have more experiences to tell me of. And since I don't like being lectured by the parents, I have you to listen to. Oh, and especially when you're intoxicated. I don't know if you know the things that come out of your mouth, but damn. :)

I remember when we were younger and dad was still in his drinking days. It was always just us hanging out back then. And when it'd get late you'd take me to either my room or your room and tucked me in. The clearest memory I have is when I was sleeping in your room and mum came in to take me back to mine, and she was shocked because you were still studying in the dark.. Because you knew I couldn't sleep with any light on.

Because you're the only one that can relate to me in this family, and actually understand some of the things I go through socially. And since you're a guy, we can't really talk about lovey dovey stuff because it's just awkward. This is where your fiancée comes in. You really found a nice catch there bro. I can talk to her about pretty much everything, because she's just like the female version of you. Mostly talking to her about the usual girl stuff where I need an older person's experience and advice to take in.

Although I used to annoy the shit out of you when I was younger, we still managed to have fun.

I miss you.
