12. Nick Lachey - What's Left Of Me
Does anyone remember him? Lol, that Newly Weds show guy with Jessica Simpson. The lead singer of 98 Degrees.
Falling faster, burning, freezing
Give me something to believe in
Tell me it's not all in my head
Take what's left of this man
Make me whole once again
Cause I want you, and I feel you
Crawling underneath my skin
Like a hunger, like a burning
To find a place I've never been
Now I'm broken, and I'm fading
I'm half the man I thought I would be
But you can have what's left of me
13. James Morrison - Wonderful World
A song I'd never come across or look twice at if I ever saw the title, but thanks to Pandy it's now one of my favourite songs. It really reaches out to me and describes a lot of me I reckon.
I've been down so low, people look at me and they know
They can tell something is wrong, like I don't belong
Well, staring through a window
Standing outside, they're just too happy to care tonight
I wanna be like them, but I'll mess it up again
I tripped on my way in and got kicked outside, everybody saw
And I know it's wonderful world, but I can't feel it right now
Well, I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now
Well I know that it's a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea
But I can only see it when you're here, here with me
Sometimes I feel so full that it just comes spilling out
It's uncomfortable to see I give it away so easily
But if I had someone I would do anything
And never, never, never let you feel alone
I won't, I won't leave you on your own
But who am I to dream?
Dreams are for fools, they'll let you down
14. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
Yet again, Taylor Swift. I don't need to explain anything about this song, because it speaks for itself just like the others. :)
Walking the streets with you and your worn out jeans
I can't help thinking this is how it ought to be
Laughing on a park bench thinking to myself
"Hey, isn't this easy?"
And you've got a smile that could light up this whole town. :)
15. The Fray - You Found Me
There are just so many memories with this song. :)
In the end, everyone ends up alone
Losing her, the only one who's ever known
Who I am, who I'm not and who I wanna be
No one to know
How long you she will be next to me
Lost & insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late.. You found me, you found me
16. James Morrison - You Give Me Something
It's slow and chilled. It's an oldie and a fave'd. :) Thanks Pandy again for the reminder and recommendation. :D
I was meant to tread the waters
Now I've gotten in too deep
For every piece of me that wants you
Another piece backs away
Cause you give me something,
That makes me scared, alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
Cause one day I might know my heart
And no doubt there'll be more to come. :) Sorry if I bore you with all these lyrics, but hey.. no one told you to read it all. :D
